This .zip file contains a set of Microsoft Excel workbooks, each listing the top 10 procedures reported to the CMS database for CY 2010 and includes data for 70 different specialties. Workbooks are also available with all procedures ranked by frequency, charge and RVU as well as modifier on the Utilization Workbook product page. 

This Microsoft Excel workbook contains the national average charge amounts for over 10,000 procedure code/modifier combinations for 2010. It includes the average charge, standard deviation and the count. Calculations are based on over 1.9 billion claim lines submitted by nearly every doctor in every specialty in the U.S.  Workbooks are also available with complete charfe statistics by stae for all specialties with a worksheets of cross-speciaty comparisons on the Utilization Workbook product page. 

This Microsoft Excel workbook contains the national average charge for over 10,500 procedure code/modifier groups found within the Physician Fee Schedule (PFS) database. For each group, I have included the weighted mean, the standad deviation and the sample error so you can decide for yourself the value of the information. Statistics are based on charge data from over 1.6 billion claim lines submitted by nearly every doctor in every specialty in the U.S. 

This Microsoft Excel workbook contains the average charge for all procedures in the CY 2008 P/SPS Master File (100% of Medicare claims) that were reported at least 5 times and had an associated total charges value. This workbook contains both average as well as variability statistics (mean and confidence interval).
